Luan Alaniz [http://www.geocities.com/luanalaniz2000/DescendantsofJohnCraig.htm] says:
"Jonathan joined the Confederate Army in Fort Worth, Texas on March 8, 1862. He was in Company E, 15th Texas Cavalry, 2nd Reg't., Johnson's Brigade. He was wounded in a skirmish, and the last record I have on him states he was in the hospital. This was June 1864. He later died, but I don't have the exact date."
Alaniz also says the only child was Burrah Lucinda Craig.
