On 1996-08-22, Martin RIGDON, In a posting at http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyflemin/flemres1.htm, wrote the following:
"I am looking for the ancesters of Eli Truitt RIGDON. All that I know for sure is that he was born in 1813 and died in 1896. He was married twice that I know of, first to Dice HURST then to Louis PLUMMER. He was my great-great-grandfather."
I hope Mr. Rigdon has more information by now. On the basis of his statement, I am combining the two different Eli Truitt RIGDONs that I have found in different sources (one born about 1816 and married to Dicey HURST; the other born about 1817 and married to Louisa PLUMMER) into the same person. I can find no reason not to.
