Narrative

I found this note o0n Ken McCormick's "McCormick Ancestry" site:

[Brøderbund WFT Vol. 5, Ed. 1, Tree #2723, Date of Import: Mar 3, 2000]
George Pace (1608 - 1657) son of Richard and Isabella, married Sarah Maycock about 1637. Sarah was the daughter of Samuel Maycock who was brought from England to be minister of the Jamestown Church. Samuel was given a grant of land north of Jamestown on the James River in Charles City Co. The plantation was named Maycock. During the Indian massacre of 1622, all but Sarah (believed to be about 4 months old at the time), were killed. Upon their marriage, George is believed to have moved to Maycock Plantation. They had four known children.
